Regional Centre of Expertise Nuremberg (RCE Nuremberg)
Actual situation:
Following an 18-months application process, the City of Nuremberg was acknowledged as a Regional Centre of Expertise (RCE) by the standards of the United Nations. Right now there are just 4 RCEs in Germany including two in Bavaria (Munich and Nuremberg, 55 worldwide).Office of the RCE Nuremberg
The office of the RCE Nuremberg is situated at H 46 – the Future Agency for Schools, who already applied the submission for the City of Nuremberg. Due to the fact that the Future Agency for Schools is also Nuremberg’s environmental station, it is already participating in communal and regional processes for sustainability. Therefore there are already good contacts to possible RCE partners within the region as well as worldwide. Further it is mainly financed by third part funding.Next stepps:
